Superbet grows in the east with Dinamo Bucharest shirt deal

July 26 – Romania’s Dinamo Bucharest have named bookmaker Superbet as the club’s new main sponsor.

The three-year sponsorship will see the Superbet logo on the front of Dinamo shirts begins with the coming season. Marketing activation will focus on the club’s digital assets.

Romania’s top tier league was renamed to Superliga in 2022 when Superbet Group became the official partner of the competition in an initial two-year deal.

Dinamo’s financial director, Dan Gătăianțu, said: “We need strategic, strong partners who will grow with us. Superbet is the new main sponsor for Dinamo and, together, we are moving towards performance.”

Gătăianțu said the new sponsorship is an increase on its previous sponsor and comes with performance related bonuses.

Superbet has expanded its sponsorship footprint in eastern Europe, having also taken the back of short logo position with Poland’s Wislaw Krakow.

Andrei Popa, VP of Online at Superbet, said: “For us, we see the partnership with Dinamo as proof and a confirmation of our strategy to support Romanian sport, to support football in Romania and, at the same time, to support the local communities of fans, because after all the supporters are the ones who bring energy and charm to this sport.”
